Jon Taffer’s personal restaurant concept, Taffer’s Tavern, continues expanding with new locations planned for 2026. The sports bar chain represents the Bar Rescue host putting his money where his mouth is.
Unlike traditional Bar Rescue rescues where Taffer advises struggling owners, Taffer’s Tavern is his own venture built from scratch using principles he’s preached for years on television.
The Concept
Taffer’s Tavern emphasizes technology-forward operations and what Taffer calls “scratch-less kitchen” preparation. The approach aims to deliver consistency that traditional restaurants struggle to maintain.
Current locations operate in Georgia, with expansion planned into additional markets. The chain serves as a laboratory for operational innovations that may eventually appear in Bar Rescue advice.
Whether the concept succeeds at scale remains to be seen, but it’s an interesting test of whether Taffer’s rescue principles translate to building something new.
