What We Do

We track the businesses and people from shows like Kitchen Nightmares, Bar Rescue, Restaurant Impossible, Hotel Hell, and 24 Hours to Hell and Back. For each episode, we research whether the business is still open, what changes they made after filming, and where the owners are today.

Why We Started

The site grew out of a simple obsession: wanting to know the rest of the story. Television gives us a compressed narrative – struggling business, expert intervention, emotional resolution – but real life is messier and more interesting.

Some restaurants thrive after appearing on these shows. Others close within months. A few become infamous internet legends. We track all of it.

How We Research

We use a combination of sources to verify business status:

• Reader tips and firsthand visits
