The Byers Family of Corvallis, Oregon received their makeover on October 7, 2007. Like many families featured on the show, they soon found themselves struggling to maintain their new, much larger home.
The Common Problem
The Byers faced the same challenges that affected numerous Extreme Makeover families: increased property taxes based on the home’s new value, higher utility bills for a larger space, and maintenance costs they hadn’t anticipated.
