Bar Rescue filming new episodes in 2026 has gotten complicated with all the rumors and speculation flying around. As someone who tracks every Bar Rescue episode and follows Jon Taffer’s production schedule like it’s my job (because, well, it kind of is), I learned everything there is to know about what’s happening with the show right now. Today, I will share it all with you.
Here’s the good news first: the show is still going strong. Taffer’s team recently wrapped production at several struggling bars across the Southwest, and Paramount Network clearly isn’t ready to pull the plug on one of their most reliable performers.
Where Are They Filming?
Probably should have led with this section, honestly. Sources familiar with production say the upcoming season features establishments in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. Several bars in the Phoenix metro area were reportedly scouted during recent trips, which makes sense – Phoenix has been booming for years and the bar scene is both competitive and full of places that need help.
I’m personally excited about the Southwest focus. Those markets tend to produce interesting episodes because you get this mix of tourist bars, neighborhood dives, and places trying way too hard to be something they’re not.
What This Means for Our Tracking
Each new season adds to the growing universe of establishments we follow here at RealityTVRecap. With over 250 bars already featured across the show’s entire run, the database just keeps expanding. We’ll update our records as new episodes air and follow up on each bar’s success rate like we always do.
That’s what makes Bar Rescue endearing to us reality TV fans who love the data side of things. Every new episode is another data point, another story to track, another bar to check in on six months or a year later.
The show’s longevity honestly impresses me. Kitchen Nightmares ended back in 2014. Bar Rescue just keeps rolling, season after season, for over a decade now. Taffer found a formula that works and he’s sticking with it.
Looking Ahead
We expect new episodes to start airing later this year. As always, I’ll be tracking each featured bar’s journey from rescue day forward and updating our success rate statistics as the data comes in.
If you’ve visited a Bar Rescue bar recently, I’d love to hear about it. Drop your experience in the comments – the good, the bad, all of it. Those firsthand reports are honestly more valuable than anything I can find online.
