Probably should have led with this section, honestly. Here’s the deal with Bar Rescue: Jon Taffer renames bars constantly. Like, almost every episode. So you end up with this mess where one bar has three different names floating around – the original name, whatever Taffer called it, and then sometimes a third name the owners switch to after the cameras leave. The Roc Bar & Nightclub (originally Fort One) – This was a San Francisco bar featured on Season 5, Episode 11, called “Ice, Mice, Baby.” Originally named Fort One Bar and Lounge, Taffer renamed it The Roc Bar & Nightclub during the rescue. The bar eventually closed in 2019. The “Roc” name is close enough to “Rocco’s” that I think this is what most people are remembering.
